| I
really like the work of this artist who features various aristic
media on his website. The images are distrubing in the most
surrealistic of ways. Not too heavy, not too passe, just right.
I also like the technique that is applied to his various
works. The plays on the shadows as well as the plays of the
haunting images that come to mind while viewing this selection of
works. Kudos and we are very happy to be featuring your work
here. Check him out. |

He
is an Amazing Artist in my opinion. Dariusz Zawadzki is
a very visual, very astute artist that makes his visions known
in the odd post apocolyptic worlds that he presents to us through
the visions of his mind, set down to canvas for the world to see.
I really am a fan of the stark imagery as well as the subliminal
meanings of the works. Way to go and kudos. By his
request, if you wish to see more of this very talented artist,
please feel free to email
him. |

| I
really like the fantasy, art and expression that this Russian Artist
conveys in his work and his tireless attention to detail, while
still conveying the raw energy of the pieces. Well done!
I also like the rusts and browns that are in this series of pieces
in particular. It seems to lend an air of "earthiness"
to the works and that is what really struck me when I was looking
for new Subversive Artists to add to the Directory that makes this
site what it is! |

| Into
the mind of Brom |
|
| Legend
of Macabre |
 |
 |
 |
| Surreal,
Haunting, Atmospheric insanity? You decide. The work
of Brom definitely preceeds him. The intricate visualisation
at play here is amazing, with all of the characters in his work,
you will find, that the illustration seems to be layered, A first
contact impression, a secondary impression, as well as a third and
a fourth... So the piece becomes a subtle story with the play
on colors, as well as general mood of the work seems almost alive
to a certain extent, never getting stale or redundant. I think
that this is part of the genius of the pieces, of the work as well
as the artist himself. The site, as are all sites here are
definitely worth a look! |

| Looking
at these pieces, one's thoughts go back into a different time and
space. Almost like a surrealistic Tim Burton piece.
I really love both the detail, as well as the vividness of the colors
that are employed here. They definitely set a tone for the
general atmosphere of the pieces. Chris Mars also has a series
of film clips of his painting and illustrations on his website.
It is very interesting how the art comes alive in the spectrum of
senses that we call visual subversion. Enjoy! |

| Sensuality
via Airbrush, ala Ed
Mironiuk |
|
| Politics
of Pleasure |
 |
 |
 |
| I
like the simplicity as well as the smoothness of these Erotic Illustrations.
If a pinup model could ever be an erotic illustration, then Ed Mironiuk
would definitely be one to consult, regarding the re creation.
I especially liked the fetish fantasy, black enveloped around yellow.
Even though simplictic in nature, there is a very strong
underlying theme of very special care to every curve, every shade
of light reflecting off of each curve of the body in these pieces.
I can almost imagine the artist stepping back, looking at
his work from every angle, changing here, re arranging there, for
the final spotless finish. |

|
| Modern
Sensual, Jean
Pierre Ceytaire |
|
| In
the eyes of the French |
 |
 |
 |
| I
was instantly smitten by Jean Pierre Ceytaire's style right off
the bat. The art is realistic, soft, erotic and either "over
the top", or "shadowy subversive". I marveled
at the intricate detail of some of the scetches, and laughed at
the fun, lighthearted and carefree situations of the other works.
All in all, a very well rounded artist, currently living in France,
I believe. The work gives a certain "lighthearted feel"
to the word Sex and everything else that goes along with it.
Mr. Cerytaire pokes fun at these situations, assumingly and then
wraps his head around the whole notion and out comes his thoughts
on the whole thing, beautifully recreated in the medium of his choosing.
Simply brilliant! |

 |
| Absolutely
Fucking Amazing! Some of the best Digital Art out there in
my humble opinion. And I just checked out the site.
The models are the perfect balance between realistic and surreal.
The sensuality that is ingrained in the prints are unbelievable.
And the prints are pretty cheap, from what I saw on his website.
I really love the color of the prints themselves and the exceptional
detail that the eyes have. Also the looks of angst, wonton
desire all the way to "young and having fun", they would
be a delightful addition to the avant garde and the searchers of
exquisite sensuality at it's finest! |

 |
| This
one was a request sent in to the site. I am a big fan of the
illustration. Reminds me of the inside cover art for that
Bullet Boys cassette I used to play nonstop, years ago. Everything
about the artist is on the scale of darker. The mediums range
from illustration, tattoo art into some photography as well as other
mediums. You will just have to check out this artist for yourself.
The work is what I am looking for and I love the work! |
